These terms govern your use of OpsDirect (“OpsDirect,” “we,” “us”), a financial and operations management tool that helps owners who run one or more businesses keep track of their bills, receipts, email, and finances in one place. By using OpsDirect you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

OpsDirect connects to accounts you authorize (email, bank/card via Plaid, and others) to organize your bills, receipts, and finances, and to surface what needs your attention. You control which accounts are connected and can disconnect any of them at any time from within the app.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may close your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

SMS Alerts Program

Program name: OpsDirect Critical Alerts.

Description: If you enable SMS as your notification channel in Settings, OpsDirect may text the phone number you provide when something needs your immediate attention — for example, a service outage, a failed payment, or an account that needs reconnecting. These are operational alerts about your own account; they are never marketing or promotional messages.

How you opt in:Only you can enroll your own number — there is no public sign-up form and no way to enroll a number that isn’t your own. The exact steps:

1. The account owner signs in to OpsDirect at opsdirect.app (accounts are created by the owner; nobody else can enter a number on their behalf).
2. They open Settings → Alerts.
3. They choose "Text message (SMS)" as their alert channel and type their OWN mobile number.
4. They tick the consent checkbox shown below. The wording, the frequency and rate disclosures, and links to the Terms and Privacy Policy are all on that screen, beside the checkbox.
5. Saving records the consent with a timestamp. SMS alerts do not start unless that box is ticked — leaving it unticked keeps alerts in the app. Changing the number later clears the agreement: the new number is saved first, then one more save with the box ticked confirms it, so an agreement is never carried across to a different number.
6. They can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by unticking that same checkbox in Settings → Alerts (which clears the stored agreement), or by switching their alert channel back to email or in-app.

Message frequency: As needed only — OpsDirect texts you when something genuinely needs your attention, never on a routine schedule and never more than roughly once per few hours for the same issue.

Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to a text from OpsDirect to opt out of SMS alerts immediately. You can also turn SMS alerts off, or switch to email, from Settings inside the app.

Disclaimers

OpsDirect is provided “as is.” We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made based on information OpsDirect surfaces. OpsDirect never moves money or initiates payments on your behalf without your explicit action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the effective date above when we do, and significant changes will be made available within the app.
